The 2015–16 season is Tranmere Rovers' 132nd season of existence and their first in the National League following relegation the previous season.[1] Along with competing in the National League, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and FA Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

Competitions

Pre-season friendlies

On 15 May 2015, Tranmere Rovers announced they would play Blackburn Rovers[34] and Shrewsbury Town[35] in pre-season. On 22 May 2015, Tranmere Rovers announced three more pre-season friendlies.[36] A day later, Tranmere Rovers announced two more pre-season friendlies.[37] On 23 June 2015, the club confirmed a friendly against Everton U21s.[38]
