It was designed by Frank M. Johnson under the direction of city engineer Arthur Dimock.[2] Built in 1913, the structure is both listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated city landmark.[2][3] The structure is {{convert|354|ft|abbr=on}} long. It has a {{convert|250|ft|adj=on|abbr=on}} arch that rises {{convert|41|ft|abbr=on}} over the ravine. It supports an {{convert|18|ft|adj=on|abbr=on}} reinforced concrete roadway. The road has been closed to vehicular traffic since 1975, but it is accessible by pedestrians.[4] References{{commons category|Ravenna Park Bridge}}1. ^{{cite web|title=Landmarks and Designation|publisher=City of Seattle|url=http://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/preservation/landmarks_listing.htm|accessdate=2013-03-05}} {{Bridges of Seattle}}2. ^{{cite book|title=National Register of Historic Places; Annual Listing of Historic Properties (Part II)|date=March 1, 1983|publisher=National Park Service|page=8669|url=http://www.cr.nps.gov/nr/listings/Weekly_List_FR-March-1-1983-listingyear1982.pdf}} 3. ^{{cite web|title=Individual Landmarks|url=http://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/preservation/t.htm|publisher=City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods|accessdate=March 25, 2011|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20100604232253/https://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/preservation/t.htm|archive-date=2010-06-04|dead-url=yes|df=}} 4. ^1 {{cite web|last=Long|first=Priscilla|title=Seattle's Ravenna Park Bridge is constructed in 1913.|url=http://www.historyink.org/index.cfm?DisplayPage=output.cfm&file_id=8699|work=HistoryLink.org Online Encyclopedia of Washington State History|date=July 23, 2008|accessdate=March 24, 2011|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20111003055710/http://www.historyink.org/index.cfm?DisplayPage=output.cfm&file_id=8699|archive-date=2011-10-03|dead-url=yes|df=}} 11 : Bridges in Seattle|Bridges completed in 1913|Road bridges on the National Register of Historic Places in Washington (state)|National Register of Historic Places in Seattle|Landmarks in Seattle|Road bridges in Washington (state)|Pedestrian bridges in Washington (state)|Former road bridges in the United States|1913 establishments in Washington (state)|Open-spandrel deck arch bridges in the United States|Steel bridges in the United States |
