Architecture22 Bayley Lane would have been one of a row of cottages of its type when it was built in the early 16th century. Other work from this time of this quality can be found at Ford's Hospital and Bond's Hospital. The chimneys were added to the building in the 17th century[3] and the shop window is early 19th century.[4] References{{Commons category|22 & 23 Bayley Lane, Coventry|22 Bayley Lane}}1. ^Stephens, pp. 146-150 2. ^{{cite news |title=15th century gem to get new lease of life |author=Goulden, Barbara |url= |newspaper=Coventry Telegraph |date=November 23, 2005 }} 3. ^{{cite news |title=See the city as it is |author=Goulden, Barbara |url=http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/content_objectid=13094006_method=full_siteid=50003_headline=-See-the-city-as-it-is-name_page.html |newspaper=Coventry Telegraph |date=21 June 2003 |accessdate=23 February 2013}} 4. ^{{cite sign |author=Coventry City Council |url=http://openplaques.org/plaques/8901 |title=22 & 23 Bayley Lane |location=22 Bayley Lane, Coventry |publisher=Coventry City Council |date= |accessdate=1 September 2012 |medium=Coventry black plaque}} Bibliography
