1-(2,6-dihydroxypyridin-3-yl)-4-(methylamino)butan-1-one + H₂O 2,6-dihydroxypyridine + 4-methylaminobutanoate

The enzyme is present in the soil bacterium Arthrobacter nicotinovorans.
