Abdul Qadir Bafakhy was a trader who exchanged goods between different countries. Abdul Qadir had six sons and three daughters.{{Citation needed|date= April 2018}} Bafakhy Thangal was the one of the founder leaders of Indian Union Muslim League and the Leader of Samastha Kerala Jam'iyyathul Ulama. {{Citation needed|date= April 2018}} DeathBafakhy Thangal died on Friday 19 January 1973 in Makkat al-Mukarramah - مكة المكرمة (Makkah in Saudi Arabia).
