It was described by Rothschild in 1932.[1] It is found in Sierra Leone.[2] The wingspan about 132 mm. Adults are similar to Acrojana splendida, with a salmon-red area on the hindwings. The underside of the abdomen is scarlet mixed with wood-brown and the legs are scarlet edged with wood-brown.
