}}Adam Jensen is an American alternative recording artist, producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Boston. Jensen's single "The Mystic" was premiered by Billboard[1] on November 3, 2016, and won the 2017 New England Music Award for Song of the Year.[2]

Jensen has co-written with Rob Thomas, Stan Lynch (of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), Walt Aldridge and Eliot Sloan. He also collaborated with Candlebox lead singer, Kevin Martin, co-writing "You'll Never Walk Alone", a tribute to the Boston Marathon bombing victims, and donated all proceeds to the ONE fund.

Solo career

"Sandcastles" reached #1 on the Hype Machine Popular Charts and #1 on the Soundcloud Hot & New Charts. The song was featured on the Spotify Viral Charts in US (#24), Sweden (#8), Canada (#19.). "Sandcastles" was also featured on Youtube15 with Jenna Marbles on Sirius XM Hits 1 and Youtube15 with The Chainsmokers on BPM (Sirius XM).

In February 2016, "Sandcastles (Remix)" was re-released on Armada Music.

"Drugs" was another single featured on the Spotify Viral Charts in Australia (#3), US (#25), Canada (#14.) and added to KCRW radio, along with "The Mystic".

Jensen co-wrote, co-produced and is featured on the song, "Leave It All Behind", by Dash Berlin, which is included on the We Are - Part 1 album released by Armada Music.

Jensen tours nationally, opening for artists such as David Cook, Frenship, Pat Benatar, Rozes, Sammy Hagar, Better Than Ezra, Los Lonely Boys, Howie Day, 3 Doors Down and Tim Reynolds.

Jensen was nominated for "Songwriter of the Year" at the 2013 New England Music Awards[3] which Matt Nathanson won,[4] and was awarded honorable mention at the USA Songwriting Competition for the song “Still Hanging On.”

Jensen has also performed with Foreigner, Chicago and Gin Blossoms.

Mission Hill

Jensen first built a following with the band Mission Hill after signing a record deal with Toucan Cove/Universal Records in 2009.

Jensen signed a management deal with David Corey, program director of CHUM-FM and former program director of KISS 108 in Boston, and Alert Entertainment,[5] and formed the band Mission Hill. Mission Hill consisted of Jensen and Alex Knutsen. From 2009 to 2012, Mission Hill released two full-length albums and three EPs under the Toucan Cove/Universal Records label.

Jensen was named Male Vocalist of the Year (Indie) by the LA Music Awards in 2007.[6] Mission Hill was named #1 Band to Watch in 2010 by Boston Music Spotlight.[7]

In 2010, Mission Hill performed as part of the annual KISS 108 Concert at the Comcast Center and was selected through Ourstage.com's Super Band to play with Bon Jovi and Kid Rock at Gillette Stadium.[8][9]

In 2010, Mission Hill traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to perform as the resident band at Hard Rock Cafe for the month of February.

Mission Hill performed alongside national acts such as Bon Jovi, Kid Rock, Train, Third Eye Blind, Candlebox, Donavon Frankenreiter, Live, WAR, Marcy Playground, Parachute, Blessid Union of Souls and Vertical Horizon.
