}}Adventure Alley is one of several "themed sections" and is exclusive to the Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, open on April 5, 2012.^[1] One of the most popular attractions in the Adventure Alley, Big Wheel that was originally opened in 1974 and SkyScreamer, an {{Convert|242|ft|m}} Swing ride that opened in 2012.^[2]

History

Before Adventure Alley, it was known as Fantasy Forest from when Six Flags Great Adventure opened in 1974 and was split up through several years with Main Street in-between. But for the 2012 season, the theme section Fantasy Forest will just stay at the east side of Main Street, and the west side will be transformed to Adventure Alley, with an original theme including three new rides, attractions, restaurants, and shops.^[1]^[3]

Big Wheel: {{convert|154|ft|m|adj=on}}-tall Ferris Wheel, opened as the world's tallest and largest when it opened in 1974. In 2009, the ride went under rehab for the park's 35th anniversary.
