}}Aenetus tegulatus is a moth of the family Hepialidae. It is known from south-eastern Papua New Guinea, the Northern Territory and Queensland.[1] The wingspan is about 40 mm for females and males are smaller. Adult males have mottled fawn forewings and pale green hindwings. Females have bright green forewings and pink hindwings.[2] Young larvae feed on dead leaves. Older larvae bore in the stems of saplings of various plants, including Allocasuarina littoralis and Glochidion disparides.
