It has an ISI impact factor of 4.65 (2017), and covers all issues pertaining to the biology of aging, pathophysiology of age-related diseases, and novel treatments for diseases afflicting the elderly. The journal was established in 2010[2] and the editors-in-chief are Dr. Kunlin Jin (University of North Texas), Dr. Ashok K. Shetty (Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine), and Dr. David Greenberg (Buck Institute for Research on Aging).
