He was a regular pick at wing half and centre half during the 1927–28 season and made 33 appearances and scored one goal in his solitary season at Griffin Park.[2] Norwich CityAfter his departure from Brentford, Fletcher joined Division Three South side Norwich City on a trial basis,[2] but did not play a league match for them.
