He was also an occasional film actor, playing alongside great Romanian actors like Toma Caragiu and Gheorghe Dinică in the 1975 comedy movie Nu filmăm să ne-amuzăm (We do not film to amuse ourselves) directed by Iulian Mihu.[1] As of 2014, he is the vicepresident of the Professional Football League of Romania. In 1969, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for having beaten a Securitate officer at a bar.[2] He served one year and a month.[2] AchievementsClub
