EducationAmit Arya holds a medical Degree from the University of British Columbia and is a Medical Doctor by profession.[3] Music careerAmit Arya is the Director, Co-Founder and Instructor along with Pandita Tripti Mukherjee of the Pandit Jasraj Institute of Music - Toronto, the first Indian Classical School with Pandit Jasraj's name in the Greater Toronto Area. Amit is the first Canadian born Indian Classical Vocalist performing and teaching at his level.[1] RepertoireAmit specializes in Hindustani Classical Music.
