It was described by Meyrick in 1931. It is found in eastern India (Bihar).[1] The wingspan is about 6 mm. The forewings are whitish or pale grey, irrorated grey and dark fuscous or blackish. The discal stigmata are dark fuscous, moderate or very small. The hindwings are grey.
