It encompasses a portion of Quebec formerly included in the electoral districts of Argenteuil—Papineau—Mirabel (69%) and Pontiac (31%).[3] Argenteuil—La Petite-Nation was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election, scheduled for 19 October 2015.[4] History{{CanMP}}{{CanMP nodata|Argenteuil—La Petite-NationRiding created from Argenteuil—Papineau—Mirabel and Pontiac}}{{CanMP row | FromYr = 2015 | ToYr = | Assembly# = 42 | CanParty = Liberal | RepName = Stéphane Lauzon | RepTerms# = 1 | PartyTerms# = 1 }}{{CanMP end}} Election results{{Canadian election result/top|CA|2015|percent=yes|change=yes|expenditures=yes}}{{CANelec|CA|Liberal|Stéphane Lauzon|22,093|43.26|+29.52|$52,794.82}}{{CANelec|CA|NDP|Chantal Crête|12,650|24.77|-20.24|$46,712.51}}{{CANelec|CA|BQ|Jonathan Beauchamp|9,525|18.65|-4.62|-}}{{CANelec|CA|Conservative|Maxime Hupé-Labelle|5,680|11.12|-3.59|$24,593.67}}{{CANelec|CA|Green|Audrey Lamarche|1,118|2.19|-0.44|$839.35}}{{Canadian election result/total|Total valid votes/Expense limit|51,066|100.0 | |$213,069.11}}{{Canadian election result/total|Total rejected ballots|601|–|–}}{{Canadian election result/total|Turnout|51,667|65.71|–}}{{Canadian election result/total|Eligible voters|78,626}}{{CANelec/source|Source: Elections Canada[5][6]|}}{{end}}
