Auburn is a village on the Isis River, in the parish of Hill and county of Somerset, Tasmania. It is about {{convert|10|mi|km|order=flip}} from Campbell Town, Tasmania, {{convert|40|mi|km|order=flip|abbr=on}} from Launceston, and {{convert|75|mi|km|order=flip|abbr=on}} from Hobart. Nearby is the remarkable hill called Jacob's Sugar Loaf.^[1]
