Wello is an iPhone cover with built-in circuitry and sensors that is able to track a variety of vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level, body temperature and ECG.[5] Lung function can also be measured using an add-on spirograph, which clips onto the side of the case using magnets.[5] The thin[6] case connects to an iPhone via Bluetooth 4.0 in order to send the data it collects to a companion mobile app,[7] which presents a user’s vital statistics as a set of numbers and graphs, charting daily, weekly and monthly readings.[5] The technology for Wello is contained in a removable card.
