The mountain is located within the New England National Park and is situated {{convert|7|km}} east northeast of Majors Point Trigonometric Station and about {{convert|7|km}} north of the junction of Andersons and Cooks Creeks.[2] The nearest settlement, {{NSWcity|Dorrigo}}, is located {{convert|21.7|km}} away to the east.
