As with all wards, apart from smaller Mapledurham, it elects three councillors to Reading Borough Council. Elections since 2004 are held by thirds, with elections in three years out of four. In the 2011, 2012 and 2014 a Labour Party candidate won each election. These Councillors are currently, in order of election: Matt Rodda, Gul Khan and Sarah Hacker.[3] References1. ^{{cite web|title=Final recommendations on the future electoral arrangements for Reading|url=http://www.lgbce.org.uk/__documents/lgbce/all-reviews/south-east/berkshire/reading-unitary-authority-ua/reading_5215-4819__e__.pdf|work=Report to the Electoral Commission|publisher=Boundary Committee for England|accessdate=5 May 2012|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20120604192509/http://www.lgbce.org.uk/__documents/lgbce/all-reviews/south-east/berkshire/reading-unitary-authority-ua/reading_5215-4819__e__.pdf|archivedate=4 June 2012|df=}} {{Reading, Berkshire}}2. ^{{cite web|title=Wards|url=http://www.reading.gov.uk/meetings/wards/|publisher=Reading Borough Council|accessdate=5 May 2012|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120509152107/http://www.reading.gov.uk/meetings/wards/|archivedate=9 May 2012|df=}} 3. ^{{cite web|title=Local Election 3 May 2012|url=http://www.reading.gov.uk/electionsdata/2012/local/staticscoreboard.asp|publisher=Reading Borough Council|accessdate=5 May 2012|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20121120035942/http://www.reading.gov.uk/electionsdata/2012/local/staticscoreboard.asp|archivedate=20 November 2012|df=}} 1 : Wards of Reading |
