It is located in the Bergmo area of the town of Molde, about {{convert|3.5|km}} east of the town center . The church is part of the Bolsøy parish in the Molde arch-deanery in the Diocese of Møre. The red church was bought and converted into a church in 1982. The church was designed by Trond Lage Edvardsen. The church seats about 300 people.[1][2] See also
