释义 |
The Bialbero di Casorzo (Italian: "double tree of Casorzo"), which is also known as Grana Double Tree, is a unique tree situated between Grana and Casorzo in Piedmont, Italy. It is a mulberry tree on which a cherry tree grows. The cherry tree rises well above the mulberry tree on which it stands.[1] Epiphytical growing trees are not unusual, but they normally reach a small size and have a short lifespan, as there is normally not enough humus and space available where they grow.{{fact|date=March 2018}} Large epiphytes like this one require that the "upper tree" have a root connection to the ground, for example by growing down through a hollow trunk.{{fact|date=March 2018}} References1. ^{{cite web |first=Joshua |last=Foer |title=The Double Tree of Grana |url=http://www.boingboing.net/2009/06/17/the-double-tree-of-g.html |accessdate=2009-06-18| archiveurl= https://web.archive.org/web/20090619164846/http://www.boingboing.net/2009/06/17/the-double-tree-of-g.html| archivedate= 19 June 2009 | deadurl= no}} External links
