}}Bidens heterodoxa, the Connecticut beggarticks,[2] is a North American species of flowering plant in the daisy family. It is native to eastern Canada (Québec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island) and the northeastern United States (Connecticut).[3][4][5][6]Bidens heterodoxa is an annual herb up to 50 cm (20 inches) tall. It produces as many as 3 flower heads containing yellow disc florets but usually no ray florets (occasionally 1, 2, or 3). The species grows mostly along the banks of estuaries and coastal salt marshes.[7] References1. ^The Plant List, Bidens heterodoxa Fernald & H.St.John {{Taxonbar|from=Q15591272}}{{Heliantheae-stub}}2. ^{{PLANTS|id=BIHE2|taxon=Bidens heterodoxa|accessdate=29 May 2015}} 3. ^Biota of North America Program 2014 county distribution map 4. ^[https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/567499#page/24/mode/1up Fernald, Merritt Lyndon & St. John, Harold 1915.
