}}The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sylhet is an autonomous organization, that is responsible for holding public examinations (JSC, S.S.C and H.S.C) in four districts of Sylhet Division.[2] The board is established in 1999.[3]

The present chairperson of the board is Professor Momtaz Shamim.[4]
