It is located in the village of Bodom in the upper Ogndalen valley, about {{convert|26|km}} east of the town of Steinkjer. It is an annex church for the Ogndal parish which is part of the Nord-Innherad prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1905 by the architect S. Wiese Opsahl. The church seats about 120 people.[1][2][3] The new church was consecrated on 1 August 1905 by the Bishop Vilhelm Andreas Wexelsen.[4] See also
