HistoryA large wave of Breton immigrants arrived in the New York City area during the 1950s and 1960s.[2] Many settled in the East Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens.[2]However according to this article https://www.letelegramme.fr/soir/bretons-d-amerique-gangs-of-new-york-26-02-2018-11867230.php, there are more than 10,000 Bretons that left their native land to emigrate to New York. They had apparently very-well integrated into New York society due to their Celtic heritages being comparable to the Irish one, however, they are still very attached to their homeland. There is also a soccer team in Queens. Notable people{{Americans}}{{Portal|United States|Brittany}}
