The cultivar is the result of a crossing of Buddleja crispa var. agathosma and Buddleja alternifolia. Description'Longstock' grows to a height of 3 m, and is distinguished by its lilac-purple flowers; the foliage is mid-green.[1] Cultivation'Longstock' is not known to be in cultivation beyond the UK.
