The team was owned by the family of Alvaro Antonio[1]{{dead link|date=November 2018}} (governor[2] of the Province of Cagayan from 2007 to 2016) and managed[3] by his daughter,[4] Criselda Antonio (the incumbent mayor of Alcala, Cagayan and provincial sports coordinator[5] for the Province of Cagayan), herself, a former volleyball player.
