Craven & R.D.Edwards }} Calothamnus quadrifidus subsp. homalophyllus is a plant in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. It is similar to other subspecies of Calothamnus quadrifidus except that its leaves are longer and wider. (Calothamnus quadrifidus subsp. angustifolius also has long leaves but they are narrower than those of subspecies homalophyllus.) DescriptionCalothamnus quadrifidus subsp. homalophyllus is an erect or spreading shrub which sometimes grows to a height of {{convert|5|m|ft|sigfig=1}} and lacks a lignotuber. Its leaves are flat, egg-shaped with the narrow end towards the base, {{convert|30-50|mm|in|sigfig=1}} long and {{convert|5-10|mm|in|sigfig=1}} wide.[1]The flowers are red and arranged in clusters, usually on one side of the stem amongst the older leaves. The stamens are arranged in 4 claw-like bundles, each about {{convert|27-32|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long.
