It is located in the Huancavelica Region, Castrovirreyna Province, Santa Ana District, and in the Huancavelica Province, Huancavelica District. Ccarhuarazo is situated southeast of Kuntur Wamani and Wamanrasu. Its highest peak is on the border of the provinces.
