It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Ch'alla Qullu lies northwest of Chhuxlla Willk'i. The Ch'uñu Jawira ("ch'uñu river", Chuñu Jahuira) originates near the mountain.
