It passed the Judiciary Committee and the Arizona Senate in March 2002. The Arizona House of Representatives also voted in favor of the bill a month later and it was signed into law by Governor Jane Dee Hull on May 17, 2002.[10] Prop 103, the constitutional amendment accompanying the bill, was on the Arizona ballot in November, 2002[11] and passed with 80.4% of the vote,[12] one of the most popular ballot measures in Arizona history. Daddy Read a BookIn 2012, Cottrell founded non-profit Daddy Read a Book focused on supporting children's literacy and connecting families. Daddy Read a Book meets with families facing separation through military deployment, incarceration, etc., and films the separated father reading beloved children's books out loud. Then the family receives a copy of that video to watch while the father is gone.[13] Chris delivered a talk at TEDx about the importance of childhood reading titled Why We Should Fight for Reading.[14] References1. ^{{cite web|author=Aaron Rop |url=http://www.azcentral.com/community/tempe/articles/20140228tempe-non-profit-making-fast-pitch-funding-competition.html |title=Tempe non-profit in Fast Pitch funding competition |publisher=Arizona Republic |date=2014-02-28 |accessdate=2014-03-04}} 2. ^{{cite web|author=Terry O'Reilly |url=https://asuwebdevilarchive.asu.edu/issues/2002/01/24/campusnews/168844 |title=Bill limits bail release of sex offenders, Bill helps victims, restricts bail release of sex offenders |publisher=State Press |date=2002-01-24 |accessdate=2013-01-17}} 3. ^{{cite web|author=Jeff Schmitt |url=http://poetsandquants.com/2015/08/23/meet-the-mba-class-of-2017/3/ |title=Meet the MBA Class of 2017 |publisher=Poets & Quants |date=2015-08-25 |accessdate=2015-08-25}} 4. ^{{cite web|author=Jeff Schmitt |url=http://poetsandquants.com/2015/10/22/meet-georgetowns-mba-class-of-2017/3/ |title=Meet Georgetown McDonough’s MBA Class of 2017 |publisher=Poets & Quants |date=2015-10-22 |accessdate=2015-10-25}} 5. ^{{cite web|author=Robrt L.
