He has been the Creative Show Director for artists Missy Elliott, Diggy Simmons, Jacob Latimore, Nas , Ne-Yo.[1]{{unreliable source?|date=October 2015}} Chris Brown, Miguel, Plain White T's, Mindless Behavior and many others.{{Citation needed|date=October 2015}} McGriff received his BFA in Theater Arts Directing from Howard University.{{Citation needed|date=October 2015}} McGriff was the Assistant to the Director for the World Premier of The Color Purple the Broadway Musical[2]{{unreliable source?|date=October 2015}} and also served as Assistant to the Director for New York City Center's Production of the Wiz starring Ashanti, Tichnina Arnold, Orlando Jones, Lachanze and Dawn Lewis.{{Citation needed|date=October 2015}} He has directed over 75 musicals and plays nationwide.[3] McGriff has served as Artistic Director for New Horizons Theater in Alexandria, Virginia.
