释义 |
Sheikh Chérif Ousmane Madani Haïdara is a religious figure in Mali. He is also the current vice-president of the Malian High Islamic Council. He is a follower of the Maliki school of Islam, and celebrated Maouloud (the birth of the Prophet Muhammad), in contrast with more militant Sunni salafists.[1] In 1991, Haïdara established the Sufi-based Islamic movement Ansar Dine (French: Ançardine or Ançar ed-Dine). The movement is strong in southern Mali, the Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso,[2] and centers of Malian diaspora internationally.
