The Cimarrons are within eastern Ouray County and are also oriented north-south. ProminenceFrom afar the Cimarrons appear to be continuous with the Sneffels Range. The most prominent peak is Courthouse. From the Uncompahgre Valley the Cimarrons are easily observed.
