Many sites more or less participatory have emerged since then, such as Rue89, The Huffington Post, Mediapart and Atlantico. It can be compared to the Korean site OhmyNews. In January, 2013, near 8000 volunteers[4] enrolled as editors on the French website. They are 10525 reporters today. At that time, the site had more than a thousand of volunteer moderators.
