In 1994 she aired on South Africa's most popular Soap Opera, Generations.[1][2] In October 2014 she agreed to reprise her role as Karabo after a three-year absence from Generations.[3] Ferguson was on the cover of Forbes Woman Africa magazine in 2018.[4] Early lifeConnie Ferguson was born on 10 June 1970 in Lobatse, Botswana, and grew up in South Africa. She is the daughter of Fish Masilo and Margaret Masilo.[5] Connie’s mother in law is Boitswarelo Ferguson.[6] CareerConnie has played a leading role of Karabo Moroka on Generations since 1994, although she last appeared on the show in 2016. She has also starred on Live With The Ferguson Family (2001), Madiba (2004-).
