The street leads from the Hofplein to the {{Interlanguage link multi|Churchillplein|nl}}. Plans were announced in 2016 to reduce traffic congestion on the street. The redevelopment is expected to cost 47 million euros and to be finished by 2020.^[1]

History

The canal which ran down the street was entirely filled in between 1913 and 1922.
