It had factories in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire and Winnersh in Wokingham (near Reading, Berkshire). The company was later acquired by Frito-Lay of America (a subsidiary of PepsiCo) and both factories subsequently closed down. LocationsAirdrieThe Airdrie site was located in Cairnhill Road. WinnershThe Winnersh site was located at the Winnersh Crossroads (on the corner of Reading Road and King Street Lane). It was operational between the 1950s and the 1970s. The site later served as the United Kingdom Customer Support headquarters of Hewlett-Packard until the early 1990s but now houses a large Sainsbury's supermarket built in 1997. See also
