It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1910.[1] It is found in India (Assam).[2] The wingspan is about 24 mm. The forewings are light greyish-ochreous, almost wholly suffused with light rose-pink except in the middle of the disc and a narrow whitish-ochreous terminal facia. There are some scattered minute dots and strigulae of blackish scales, as well as a blackish basal fascia and a small black costal spot at three-fifths. The hindwings are light greyish-ochreous, more greyish posteriorly and with three or four grey marks on the upper part of the termen.[3] References1. ^{{LepIndex |id=107506 |accessdate=May 17, 2018}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13502690}}{{Cryptolechiinae-stub}}2. ^"Cryptolechia Zeller, 1852" at Markku Savela's Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms 3. ^[https://archive.org/stream/journalofbombayn20191011bomb#page/163/mode/1up Journal of the Bombay Natural History Society 20 (1): 163] 2 : Moths described in 1910|Cryptolechia |
