CSG UAV is a Chinese UAV developed by China Southern Power Grid Company (CSG) for aerial inspection of overhead power line, and has since entered service with CSG. HexacopterCSG hexacopter is an UAV developed by [https://www.guangzhou.csg.cn/en/ Guangzhou Power Supply (GZPS, 广州供电局)], a wholly owned subsidiary of CSG. The existence of CSG hexacopter is formally revealed for the first time to the public in May 2014 at Guangzhou Power Knowledge Museum (广州电力知识馆), and it is revealed that this hexacopter is nicknamed by CSG employee as Whirlwind Thunderbolt Eye (Xuan-Feng Pi-Li Yan, 旋风霹雳眼), and it is currently in service.[1] Unlike most Chinese hexacopters with a pair of skids as landing gear, this CSG hexacopter uses legs as landing gear instead. CSG hexacopter is mostly operated by remote control, and at the same time, it is also capable of fully autonomous flight.
