The character is a young French girl who lives on a farm with her grandfather after she lost her parents in the war.[6] In 2015, Buckens starred in a short film titled The Rain Collector, as Vanessa Kentworth. The film is a historical drama, exclusive to Amazon Prime.[7][8] Since 2017, Buckens has appeared in Netflix original series Free Rein, as Mia, a series regular.[9] Buckens also appeared in an episode of ITV drama Endeavour in 2017, as Daisy Bennett.[10] In 2018, Buckens starred in Forget Me Not, a French short film, as lead character Elsa.[11] EducationBuckens attended Thomas's London Day Schools and Godolphin and Latymer and St Mary's School.[12] She also studied History at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
