The specific epithet {{lang|la|incurvata}} is from the Latin meaning "bending inward", referring to the leaflet margin.[3]DescriptionDacryodes incurvata grows up to {{convert|35|m|-1}} tall with a trunk diameter of up to {{convert|30|cm|0}}. The bark is grey-brown and smooth.
