In neurosurgery, Dandy's point is a common entry point for occipital burr hole. It is located {{Convert|2|cm|in}} lateral to the midline and {{Convert|3|cm|in}} above the inion.^[1] In infants this usually corresponds with the lambdoid suture in the mid pupillary line.{{cn|date=March 2019}}
