While carrying out his research, he discovered a sundried tomato product that provided the foundation for PeaceWorks Inc.[13] in 1994. PeaceWorks is a “not-ONLY-for-profit”® business corporation pursuing both peace and profit. Its flagship brand – Meditalia[14] –is made through cooperation among neighbors striving to co-exist in the Middle East. In 2003, unhappy with unhealthy or unappetizing snacking choices, and concerned with the rising obesity and diabetes epidemic in America, Lubetzky launched KIND Snacks with the value proposition of being “KIND to your body, your taste buds and your world”. KIND has since become the fastest-growing snack[15] company in the US. In 2010, Lubetzky co-founded Maiyet,[16] a luxury fashion venture committed to forging partnerships with artisans in some of the world’s developing economies to create high end and unique products, while promoting self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship. Lubetzky is the author of The New York Times bestseller, Do the KIND Thing.[17] In 2015 President Barack Obama and Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker named him a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE).[18] PhilanthropyIn 2002, Lubetzky co-founded the OneVoice Movement, an international grassroots effort, to amplify the voices of moderate Israelis and Palestinians seeking to end the conflict.[19] In 2015, Lubetzky and KIND Snacks created the KIND Foundation. Its signature initiative, Empatico, is a video-conferencing and digital learning platform that connects classrooms around the world designed to help kids explore their similarities and differences and expand their world views.[20] In 2017, Lubetzky launched a public advocacy organization called Feed the Truth to counteract the food industry's influence on food policy and public health. He pledged $25 million to fund the organization.[21] In 2019, Lubetzky was appointed to the Anti-Defamation League’s Inaugural Board of Directors.[22] RecognitionKoshland Fellowship[23] 100 Global Leaders for Tomorrow (GLT) by World Economic Forum [24]Trinity Outstanding Alumnus Award[25] World Association of NGOs bestowed him with its Peace, Reconciliation and Security Award[26] Catholic Theological Union’s Blessed Are the Peacemakers Award[27]King Hussein Humanitarian Leadership Prize[28] Named Young Leaders Forum Fellow by National Committee for United States-China Relations[29] Named as One of “43 Entrepreneurs Who Are Changing the World by Fast Company.”[30] Recognized as a Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum[31] Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship[32] Named among “America’s Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs”[33] Named among “25 Responsibility Pioneers” of social innovation by TIME Magazine[34] Selected as Entrepreneur of the Year by Entrepreneur Magazine.[35] Named among Advertising Age’s 50 Most Creative People[36] Named among 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs by Goldman Sachs[37] Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2013 Award[38] Heroes of Conscious Capitalism[39] 2017 Common Ground Awards Winner[40] Hispanic Heritage Award[41] Horatio Alger Award[42] Personal lifeIn March 2008, Lubetzky married Michelle Lynn Lieberman, a physician, daughter of Joanne Lieberman and Michael Lieberman of Silver Spring, Maryland, with Rabbi Aryeh Scheinberg officiating at a civil service in San Antonio, Texas.[43] They have four children.[44] References1. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.forbes.com/billionaires/|title=Billionaires 2019|author=|date=|website=Forbes|accessdate=5 March 2019}} 2. ^{{cite web | first1=Daniel | last1=Lubetsky | url=http://www.kindsnacks.com | title=Home - KIND Snacks UK | publisher=KIND Snacks}} 3. ^{{cite web|title=Excerpt: Do the KIND Thing by Daniel Lubetzky|url=http://www.jewishbookcouncil.org/_blog/The_ProsenPeople/post/excerpt-do-the-kind-thing-by-daniel-lubetzky/|website=jewishbookcouncil.org|accessdate=2 September 2015}} 4. ^{{cite web|last1=KEISHIN ARMSTRONG|first1=JENNIFER|title=SETTING A HIGH BAR|url=http://www.fastcompany.com/3023368/kind-snacks-setting-a-high-bar|website=Fast Company|publisher=Fast Company|accessdate=2 September 2015}} 5. ^{{cite web | url=http://web.trinity.edu/x10084.xml | title=Trinity University to Hold Commencement May 14 | publisher=Trinity University | website=web.trinity.edu}} 6. ^{{cite web | url=http://www.nyu.edu/reynolds/speaker_series/past_ss/1314/lubetzky.html | title=Speaker Series: The Power of AND: Learning to think with AND instead of OR to accomplish seemingly incompatible goals | publisher=NYU | website=nyu.edu}} 7. ^{{cite web|last1=Driscoll|first1=Sharon|title=PEACE, KINDNESS, AND UNDERSTANDING – AND SNACKS|url=https://stanfordlawyer.law.stanford.edu/2013/11/peace-kindness-and-%E2%80%A8understanding-and-snacks/|website=stanfordlawyer.law.stanford.edu|publisher=Stanford Lawyer}} 8. ^{{cite web|url=https://twitter.com/DanielLubetzky/status/565556246062039041|title=So proud of my cousin Emmanuel Lubezki for his BAFTA for Birdman!
