He was known for his work on Arthur Penn's Bonnie and Clyde, most notably orchestrating the film's famous, bullet-ridden finale in which the title duo are killed in a hail of gunfire. He was also known for contributing effects work to over fifty live-action features for The Walt Disney Company between 1959 and 1980, including Mary Poppins, The Love Bug, and Academy Award-winning work on Bedknobs and Broomsticks.[1][2] References1. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/danny-lee-dead-bonnie-clyde-754369|title=Danny Lee, Special Effects Man on 'Bonnie and Clyde,' Dies at 95|publisher=The Hollywood Reporter|accessdate=2014-12-18}} 2. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/1972 |title=The 44th Academy Awards (1972) Nominees and Winners |accessdate=2014-12-18|work=oscars.org}} External links
