BiographyHe was born on October 14, 1884 in Altoona, South Dakota, now part of Hitchcock, South Dakota.[2] In 1908 he was the chief clerk to the division engineer in charge of La Boca Dredging Division of the Panama Canal.[3] By 1924 he was president of New York Harbor Dry Dock, replacing George C. Clark.[4] In 1930 he was vice president of the Great Lakes Aircraft Corporation.
