The 1-1/2 story Cape style house was built in 1818 by Abijah Richardson, Jr., whose father's house stands across the street. It has a five-bay facade with a center entry, and a narrow central chimney that is a replacement of an earlier large one. The house was still in the hands of Richardson descendants in the 1980s.[2] The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[1] See also
