Devil's Birthday or Birthday of the Devil (Danish and Norwegian: Fandens fødselsdag) is a historical term referring to 11 June^[1]^[2], 27 April and 11 December.^[1]^[2] By royal decree of 17 December 1656, it was decided that loan repayments and payments of interests should take place on these dates.^[3]
