Dhania (or Dhaniya) is clan or gotra of Chamar found in india. Mainly in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab. It is pronounced as 'धानिया'. The word Dhania come from Sanskrit word dhanya, which means blessed. The gotra Dhania/Dhaniya is belong to Chamar community.

These people were involved in agriculture before Indian independence[1947]. Most of these people owned land for farming.
