}}Dichomeris carycina is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1914.[1] It is found in Guyana and Brazil.[2] The wingspan is 17–20 mm. The forewings are brownish-ochreous, sprinkled with ferruginous-brown strigulae and with the base dark fuscous. The costal edge is partially suffused dark ferruginous-brown and there is a ferruginous-brown slightly oblique fascia from the middle of the dorsum extending three-fourth across the wing, with the posterior edge undefined. The apex includes an elongate rather dark fuscous spot and there is a slightly oblique transverse ferruginous-brown mark on the end of the cell, as well as blackish marginal dots around the apex and termen. The hindwings are rather dark grey.[3] References1. ^{{LepIndex |id=100340 |accessdate=May 21, 2018}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13589051}}{{Dichomeris-stub}}2. ^Dichomeris at funet 3. ^[https://archive.org/stream/exoticmicrolepid02meyr#page/624/mode/1up Exotic Microlep. 2 (20): 624] 2 : Moths described in 1914|Dichomeris |
